Melted Valentine's bead art

We love doing art projects and with Valentine's Day around the corner this week we will be having a week of fun love projects.

We have a whole bunch of fuse beads on hand cause I scored a great deal at the thrift store. Since they melt with heat we tried this project out and it worked great and they look so pretty.

Materials:
Cookie sheet
Fuse beads(you can order these online from Craft project ideas as well)
Small spoon or plastic tweezers
Magnet(we used the ones from Craft project ideas because they have the adhesive to stick to the craft)
Heart shape metal cookie cutters (you can use any shape)

How to make:
Place the metal cookie cutters on the cookie sheet, then fill the cookie cutters with the fuse beads, make sure they are filled with no holes, then place in the oven on 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Take the cookie sheet out of the oven and let it cool.
Then the melted bead art will pop right out of the cookie cutter and then you glue the magnet on the back you can also make ornaments to hang in the window as sun catchers.

Great fine motor and eye/hand coordination craft for kids.

This was a super fun craft and turned our so pretty. Below are some other fun crafts you might like as well.
