Valentine's Day button canvas keepsake

With Valentine's coming soon we started making our fun crafts for the grandparents. Today we put together a fun little craft using buttons. Great fine motor and eye/hand coordination for little ones.

Materials:

5x7 canvas (we got our at Michael's for less than $5.00 for both)

Craft buttons(Michael's in the $1.00 section)

Craft glue

Marker

I drew a heart on the canvas and then had "J" trace it with the glue, while "C" just filled her heart with glue. Then they placed the buttons all over inside the heart.

I had "J" write his words on his, since we are working on writing skills. Fun and simple craft.
