Paper plate spider

"J" thought is was so cool to make a craft out of a paper plate when we made the pumpkin, so I thought about making a spider. So today we did a spider plate.

Again another fun, easy, and inexpensive Halloween craft to have the kids make.

Materials:
Paper Plate
3 purple pipe cleaners (legs)....we cut them in half
Eye balls (2)
Black paint
Paint brush

After we made the spider, we hung all the plates we made from the ceiling with yarn/string.

DIY Mummy candy dish

This is so simple and a great decor for a Halloween party table. "J" loved it when we finished it.

Get 2 terra cotta pots you can use any size we used (2) small ones cause I wasn't sure how it would turn out.

Glue pots together like picture and let it dry over night....we used Aleene's Original tacky glue.

Then I used gauze from the Dollar Tree and wrapped the pots, used clear tape to hold gauze. After that I glues the eyeballs on and you can get a whole bag of them at the Dollar Tree as well.

Total project cost $3.00. If you watch the sales at Michael's and A.C. Moore you can get the pots 4 for $1.00 or 50% at times.

Halloween Spider cider

"J" and "C" have loved doing different sensory play things with the Halloween toys. It was so nice out we took the play on the deck and they mixed different kool-aid packets, water, spiders and eyeballs together.

Then after they mixed it all up"J" said mom, "do you want some of our spider cider?" I thought that was too cute. I said "yes".

Then "J" said, "it will be good mom, it's like apple cider."

Materials:
Kool-aid packets cheap $.20
Dollar Tree spiders and eyeballs.....we have got our money out of those toys!!

I poured alittle kool-aid into the recycled containers and then let "J" and "C" pour and mix away.

They loved playing together making this fun cider.

"C" loved scooping all the spiders and eyeballs in and out of the pitcher.
